Future Artist in Residence (FAiR)

This year-long studio residency program in Vancouver was for women of colour, marginalized genders, and prioritizes artists with disabilities in their emerging practices and creative processes.

Pass On, Pass Off Exhibition

Future Arts Network who hosted the Future Artists in Residence had us present our work at a final exhibition “pass on, pass off’ where all three artists worked together to showcase our work, hold workshops, talks, and demonstrations.

What I focused on in this residency was expanding my connection with langugue learning (traditional langugue nsyilxcən), meaning of stamiyaʔ (two-spirit), and exploring how to present these to a public audience through art-making.
